Corrections & Clarifications

The Daily Samachar is committed to publishing accurate information across all of our content. We take all steps necessary to verify facts, but we recognize that mistakes will occasionally happen. When they do, we are committed to correcting them promptly, transparently, and completely.

Our Correction Policy

If we publish a factual error, we will update the article with the corrected information and append a formal correction notice at the bottom of the piece. This notice will explain exactly what was changed and the date of the correction. We do not stealth-edit articles to remove mistakes without acknowledging them to our readers.

Clarifications

If a story is factually accurate but the phrasing is unclear, misleading, or lacks necessary context, we may issue a clarification. A clarification notice will be added to the story explaining how the text was modified to improve clarity.
